Diverse Interactive Learning Homeschool All-In-One App is a free, web-based planning and resource tool available at homeschool-resources-community.deploypad.app. It is used exclusively by parents and guardians — students do not create accounts or log in directly — and it uses only basic, non-advertising usage analytics.
02Information We Collect
From Parents, Guardians, and Adult Users
- Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Billing and payment information, processed by our payment providers (Stripe and/or PayPal) — we do not store full card numbers
- Account login credentials for our apps and website
- Communications you send us (support requests, enrollment forms, feedback)
- Homeschool planning inputs you enter yourself in the Homeschool All-In-One App — for example, curriculum choices, schedules, and resource requests. This app is used only by parents/guardians; students do not log in or submit information directly
From Student Users (Including Minors)
- Name, age or grade level, and school (if provided)
- Academic performance data — assessment scores, progress reports, session notes
- Usage data within the app or platform (lessons completed, time spent, practice test results)
- Audio, video, or session recordings, only where a parent/guardian has separately consented
Collected Automatically
- Device identifiers, IP address, browser/app type
- General (non-precise) location
- Usage and analytics data collected through tools such as Google Analytics and/or Firebase
03Children's Privacy (COPPA)
We take children's privacy seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), including the FTC's 2025 rule amendments.
Before we knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13, we obtain verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian — through a signed enrollment/intake form for tutoring, or an email-verified parent account setup for our apps and website.
- We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than is reasonably necessary for the tutoring or educational service provided.
- We do not sell children's personal information, and we do not use children's data for targeted advertising.
- We do not disclose a child's personal information to third parties beyond what's necessary to operate the service (for example, a payment processor for billing set up by the parent), without separate parental consent.
- Parents may review, correct, request deletion of, or revoke consent for their child's data at any time by contacting Info@diverseilearning.com. We respond within a reasonable time, generally no more than 30 days.
- We retain children's personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected — generally for the duration of active enrollment plus a limited period for academic and business recordkeeping — after which it is deleted or de-identified.
04School Partnerships (FERPA)
If we provide tutoring services to your school or district under a written agreement, we act solely at the direction of that school as a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest, consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We use education records received through such an agreement only for the contracted educational purpose, we do not re-disclose them except as permitted by the agreement, and we delete such records at the school's request upon termination of the agreement.

07Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted data transmission and restricted employee access to student records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, applicable tax and business recordkeeping requirements, or as otherwise required by law.
- Active account and student records: duration of enrollment plus a limited retention period afterward
- Billing and payment records: retained per IRS recordkeeping requirements (generally 7 years)
- Children's data: per the retention limits described in Section 3
09Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain data sharing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at Info@diverseilearning.com. We will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
11International Users
Our apps are distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store and may be accessed by users outside the United States. Our services are designed primarily for U.S.-based K-12 students and families; if you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States in accordance with this policy.
12Onsite Tutoring Services
For in-person tutoring at our Diverse Interactive Learning Tutoring Center, we may collect sign-in information and emergency contact details for safety purposes.
If we photograph or record sessions for marketing purposes, we will obtain separate written consent from a parent or guardian before doing so, and such media will not be used until that consent is obtained.
13Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes — especially changes affecting how we collect or use children's information — we will notify parents and users and, where required by COPPA, obtain renewed parental consent before the change takes effect.
